Easy Pizza Dough Recipe

Ingredients: 3 cups all-purpose flour 1 tablespoon sugar 1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) active dry yeast 1 teaspoon salt 1 cup warm water (110-115°F) 2 tablespoons olive oil Directions: In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, yeast and salt. Slowly add the warm water and olive oil to the dry ingredients. Mix with a wooden spoon or a stand mixer until everything comes together. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes, or until it becomes smooth and elastic. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until it doubles in size. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and place a pizza stone or baking sheet in the oven to preheat as well. Once the dough has risen, punch it down to release the air and shape it into a round or rectangular shape, depending on your preference.
