Delicious Mac n Cheese Recipe !!
Ingredients:
- 8 oz. elbow macaroni
- 4 tbsp butter
- 4 tbsp flour
- 2 cups milk
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Optional toppings: breadcrumbs, chopped parsley
Directions:
- Cook macaroni according to package instructions and set aside.
- In a separate saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
- Once melted, add flour and stir constantly for 1-2 minutes to create a roux.
- Slowly pour in milk while continuing to stir.
- Bring mixture to a simmer and cook for 2-3 minutes or until thickened.
- Remove saucepan from heat and stir in shredded cheese until fully melted and combined.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add cooked macaroni to cheese sauce and mix until evenly coated.
- Optional: top with breadcrumbs and chopped parsley before serving.
