Easy Homemade Authentic Italian Pizza
Ingredients:
- 1 lb pizza dough
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Toppings of your choice (such as pepperoni, mushrooms, onions, bell peppers, etc.)
Directions:
- Preheat your oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
- Roll out the pizza dough to your desired thickness and place it on a lightly greased baking sheet or pizza pan.
- Spread the tomato sauce over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the sauce, followed by the Parmesan cheese.
- Add your toppings of choice.
- Drizzle the olive oil over the pizza and sprinkle with minced garlic, oregano, salt and pepper.
- Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
- Remove from oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy!
